Digital Fashion Week day 1 kicked off with a bang with veteran Singaporean designer Thomas Wee not only showcasing his Spring/Summer 13 women’s collection but also debuting his first full menswear line. Not only that, but both headlining supermodels Andrej Pejic and Sophie Sumner walked for this designer who is known as “The King of the Jacket”. Our verdict? We die! These timeless fashion pieces looked like ready-to-wear origami. The impeccable tailoring was visibly evident and we love the way he reinvented the same fabric in so many different ways – from white to a pop of primary colour. The Thomas Wee threads oozed nonchalant elegance. We understand how he has been in the business over 35 years.

If we could sum up PAULINE.NING in a word it would be innovation. For example, Yvette wore a dress to the DFW Press Conference that was embellished with door hinges. The designer behind label is the lovely Pauline Lim who brings quality urban items to the catwalk. It’s hard not to notice and appreciate the intricate detailing and her provocative style when worn, is sure to make a bold statement.
Even Andrej Pejic is a fan. Get your own PAULINE.NING from Zalora here
-J-A-S-O-N- is a distinctive men’s label by JR Chan. It’s been described at poetic but not predictable. We are obsessed with the trademark low slung pants creating a modern hipster meets military look without any hint of pretentiousness. JR provides a unique take on the idea of a tailored cut. For us, this is a man’s must have label.
