Teak, tribal and teal

Inspiration is in the details. Traditional Balinese sculptures outdoors give a tribal feel, complemented by petrified wood stools and ornately carved teak furnishings inside. It’s a tough balance, but multiple light features of seemingly random sizes lined up in rows serve to light a large area without being overwhelming. A simple pebble wall painted in aquamarine feels like a beach holiday – whether you’re in Bali or not.

We’ll be back at Villa des Rizieries for sure x
