Take me where the wind blows. And that place is Mykonos. This arid and windy spot is just the change of scenery I needed. The temporary respite from Singapore’s sweat mo (or from a more scientific perspective, humidity), is perfect right now. On this particular eve I was off to Mykonos town to enjoy some vine leaves and vino down at Little Venice by the water. Call it narcissistic disorder or a die-hard-blogger issue but I did need to snap this moment and enjoy it in real time as well.
A note on the outfit? My grandfather – one week short of his 95th birthday no less – passed earlier this year and in his room clean out I discovered his golf hat. It’s now become a treasured possession that I carry with me on my lap throughout all my commuting so as not to crush it. Then, when I mentioned that I was jet setting off to the islands in the Aegean, my darling friends at Gnossem hooked me up with some goodies. My tootsies are so bloody comfortable in these Cholesburys Judy Sandals and did I mention the gorgeous stack of Ananda Soul Creations bracelets? These delicate numbers are totally fair trade, hand made with a sprinkle of love and blessed in a Balinese ceremony. Love, peace and abundance is exactly what I’m feeling right now in this moment.
