If there’s one print to be seen in right now, it’s the brilliant blues and greens of Tory Burch’s beetles. Signature animals have gone from Miu Miu’s often-copied cats to the extreme of Tsumori Chisato’s lobsters and now the beetles are set to take the stage (remember the bug clutch?).
The good girls can wear this print in a silky knit for the office as the turtleneck returns for AW13. It’s refined, ladylike and surprisingly light to wear.
For those that would rather go riding in cars with boys, pair the season’s must-have leather jacket with a printed scarf as a top to match Singapore’s variable weather. Keep it classy by using a large scarf, wrapping around the body from the front and tying as a halterneck – there’s two colours available in the collection that you can match with skinny jeans or a long skirt.
