I bought the NAKED palette by Urban Decay the other day and I have to say that I’m super impressed. I’ve had my “eye” (pun intended) on this for a long time but ended up purchasing it – maybe the hefty price tag of $83 Singapore dollars for neutral eyeshadow was the sticking point! But to be honest, it’s been worth it.
I’m glad I bit the bullet and bought it as I’ve been using it nearly every day.
WHAT // The velvet chocolate case is appealing – inside there’s a mirror, and palette-wise it comes in 12 shades with a double-ended cruelty-free Good Karma Eyeshadow Brush (which I do use) + also eyelid primer samples – UDPP (Eyeshadow Primer Potion) of all 4 ranges – original, Sin, Eden and Anti-Aging.
WHY // As I have brown eyes, I find most of the colours very complimentary. You can create office-appropriate looks, soft and dusty pink eyes and then even full-on dark clubbing, all out glamour looks. The eyeshadow is not crumbly, so it makes for less droppage under the eyes – I would recommend the Sigma E35 Tapered Blending Brush to really make the eyeshadow look quite gradient. The smaller end of the cruelty-free Good Karma Eyeshadow Brush is great for smoking out under the lower lash line.
